Stress Free Move
We were nervous about this cross-country move and Frank put at ease from the beginning. After talking to nearly 14 moving companies, we decided to go with United/Merit. We have zero regrets. They answered every call, every question, and responded to every concern. The people who loaded our things into containers did so with so much care and consideration that we were surprised to have not lost anything. The unloading company was quick--unloaded within 90 min. Everyone was professional and efficient. Honestly, we received our things earlier than expected and we are grateful that our things were handled with such care.

I can’t compliment enough. From the very start when Kevin came to give us a firm estimate and all that followed. Alyson coordinated and kept in touch throughout. She is the best! The move went smoothly from start to finish. The crew was great! Moving is very stressful but their friendly and professional manner made it easy. If we should ever move again you can count on Merit being called.

My experience was wonderful. Kevin Pruitt’s volume estimate was on the money. My price estimate was the price I paid, no “Nickel & Dime” add-on fees. Alyson Mattox walked me through everything as was like a sister. Customer service at its best!! Frank and his crew delivered my goods, set up my bed & dresser all under 2hours! I started researching moving companies online in early 2021 for a planned move from L.A. to The Ozarks. What an eye opener. After reading hundreds of horror stories, I concluded that the moving industry is rotten to the core. It is thoroughly corrupt and much of it is actually organized criminal enterprise. I learned everything customers did wrong and how they suffered for it. I always search out and study reviews, independent ones, not from the company’s own websites. I came across Merit Moving System and they had an exceptionally good reputation in their customer reviews. I called them and set up an online video walk through, then accepted their bid. I did my own packing (153 boxes). Fast forward months to move day, December 29th. They crew/truck were right on time. The four guys did a fantastic job and were in and out in a couple of hours. At our new place in Missouri, they missed the delivery window by four days but once somebody explained the situation to me over the phone, it was all good. Merit made moving my home of 20 years pain free. Professional and fast. Even getting my piano down a flight of steps with great care. I was impressed. From Alyson coordinating everything from the start to the team leader overseeing the men that brought the mussel. Perfect job.
Solid & Trustworthy
We just recently had to move my 95 yr. old mother's possessions out of an assisted living facilities. Merit and Kevin Pruitt came to my rescue immediately. We scheduled the move and the dates and times were adhered to. Alyson in the office followed up prior and during the move. The packers Jose and Sean packers and movers worked hard and right beside us! The move took place right on schedule, and Merit was there for any needs you may have. This is our third experience with Merit and two where multi- state. A company and staff you can Count on.
Fantastic Moving Service
I have used this company for myself several times as well as referred them to others. The first contact Kari comes out to look at what you might need and what is important to you so that when you get your estimate it is accurate. They are extremely professional and always on time. They handle your items with care. Over the years I have had many different crews and each of them as awesome as another. Most recently my mom who moved used them. This was a very stressful time and they handled her items the way she wanted them to be. The crew is always very conscious of the fact that time cost the client money. Every crew that I have ever had contact with has been courteous professional and a happy group of guys. We all know moving is not fun it’s stressful but they make it easy.
